If you live in Oxfordshire, UK, enjoy taking photos, meeting new people, and are looking for more reasons to take your camera out, then Oxford Photo Walk (OPW) is the group for you.
Whatever your camera equipment and wherever you are on your photography journey — whether a complete beginner or a professional — you are welcome!
WHO WE ARE
The group was founded in July 2016 (yes, we’re relatively new!) by Lorna Richerby, a former leader and co-ordinator for our sister (and more established) group, Vienna Photo Walk. The group is now run by Steve Forse, Luis Cartaxo, Sandra Lopes and Neringa Barmute.
OPW aims to bring together enthusiastic and friendly local photographers who live in and around Oxford.
What we do
OPW organise monthly photo walks, giving you a great opportunity to mingle with like-minded photographers, make friends, share ideas, swap tips, enjoy Oxford, and of course take lots of photos along the way. Our walks typically last between one and three hours, and we usually finish up in a local cafe or pub for a drink and a chat afterwards.
If this sounds like your cup of tea, then as well as exploring this website, make sure you join our Facebook group. There you can join the conversation, and you’ll be the first to know about upcoming walks. We’re excited to meet you!
