Congratulations to all our winners!
Firstly, thank you to everyone who came on the walk, who entered the contest and voted. I was amazed by the entries to this month’s “Decoration Photo Contest”, and indeed it was a very tight competition, as you’ll see from the leader board:
Rocking Horse decoration by Peter Marshall = 20 votes
Stars Lanterns by Steve Forse = 20 votes
Train decoration by Greg Hughes = 19 votes
Santa globes by Jonny Brown = 19 votes
Felt decoration by Oscar Haglund = 19 votes
Highlighted Santa globe by Greg Hughes = 18 votes

What’s next for OPW?
As this year draws to a close, now seems to perfect time to reflect, and what a year it’s been. Our photo walks have taken us all over the city, and we’ve explored so many different themes – circles, shiny, contrast, texture, and light to name a few.
The Oxford Photo Walk crowd has been steadily growing. We now have over 200 Facebook Group members and almost 1,000 Instagram followers which I am delighted to see! A BIG thank you to you all for taking part and for making this group the welcoming, friendly and supportive group that it is.
As many of you know, I’m moving to pastures new in the New Year which means that I will sadly no longer be able to lead the group. I know that many of you would be very sad if the group folded, so I am organising a get-together in January to discuss what’s next for OPW. If you’d like to get more involved, please drop me an email and I will send you an invitation. I certainly hope that the group will continue to grow and provide you with fun opportunities to meet and enjoy photographing Oxford together.
With seasons greetings and best wishes for 2018,
