Special congratulations to our winner, Joanne, for whom this was actually her first photo walk with us. I will be interviewing Joanne very soon (assuming she agrees!) where I look forward to sharing her photography story, photography tips, tricks, as well as some of her favourite/best shots with you all in due course, so watch this space!

A big THANK YOU to ALL our members who joined us on the photo walk, and entered the photo contest. You were a really fun and friendly crowd, and I’m glad so many of you were able to join us at the St Aldates Tavern afterwards for a chat and some well-earned refreshment.

And if you haven’t yet had a chance, I strongly encourage you to have a look at our photo contest album where you’ll see the other great shots taken by our members during photo walk around the city centre and the canal. I also recommend that you read the interviews with past winners, which are full of great photography anectodes and as well as our winners’ gallery.

When’s the next walk?

I know you’re dying to know! Our next walk is on the 7th December when explore the sights, sounds (and smells, most likely!) at the Oxford Christmas Market. For all the details, please go to our Facebook event page.

Hope to see you then!
